2. Minutes
Minutes of meeting held on 7th March were accepted & signed as a correct record.
3. Matters Arising.
a) No news as yet on Sub station appeal by National Grid and Network Rail.
4. Planning Applications
Box Hedge, Wetton Lane for Mr & Mrs Pardoe - Extn and Conservatory - No objection.
5. Planning Decisions
Portakabins for office and workshop - River Cruise Land, Warrington Road - permitted by VRBC.
6. Authority for signing cheques and Financial Matters
Cheques required. Assoc of Parish Councils £103.22

a) Burial Committee - Extraordinary Meeting held 7 March. Mr E Connor reported.
9. Correspondence
a) DTI New ways to work,live and play. CD.
10. Village Matters
a) Roads and pavements have been swept.

12. Next meeting will be held on Monday 9th May 2005 at 7.00pm (AGM)
No members of the public present.
b) Cheshire Railings. These have now been renewed and have made a tremendous difference. A letter of thanks to be sent to Cllr N Dolphin.
c) Strawberry Farm - No news on progress.
d) Tsunami - No new information.
e) Standing Orders - a copy of model for Standing orders has been received. This is to be copied and circulated to Councillors for comments.
f) White lines, Chapel Lane - have not been done. VRBC to be contacted.
g) ABCA News - Not been issued because of lack of articles.
h) Plans agreed for building on Acton Lane, Hall Green Farm. It states that the building replaces a derelict building but there was no building there originally. A letter to be sent to the Planning Dept VRBC, bringing this to their attention.
i) Heavy vehicles - Companies have been contacted and it has been promised that their vehicles will not come through the village again.
j) Letter has been sent to Highways department concerning safety of vehicles turning right from A49 onto Acton Lane.
Mr Pardoe took no part in the discussions of the above planning application.
Footpath Assoc £8.00
Letter sent to Mr P Young asking if he was agreeable to being the Internal Auditor again.
Reply received from Mr P Young agreeing to act as Internal Auditor.
Risk Assessment discussed and signed.
None.
Action to be taken during the absence of the clerk, due to sickness, was discussed.
The Chairman to take over the duties whilst Mrs Lewis is sick.
Emergency meeting held to discuss Finances. All charges will go up by 5% from 1st May. The Gravedigger will be the responsibility of the Undertaker in future.
b)Wind Farm. Aston Grange, 15th March - Mr S Pardoe attended. Application has not yet been submitted. There will be 4 Towers. These will be visible from along the Weaver and will be an eyesore.
